I think art is of a "higher" (that is, closer to DQ) aspect of 4th level mentation and Leonard Schlain's book about the pre-realization of intellectual growth in the minds of artists before it becomes codified in words and math formulas makes this relationship clear. As does what's his face, Keats, Truth and Beauty, ya know.
