Similar, yes, very. Probably because both are the foundation of their respective world views. Reminds me of: "Philosophy is the search for underlying assumptions"

In fact, I'd say the only way to define SOM is from a Quality perspective...
hence the difficulty explaining it to "non-believers".

Hmm... I hope not, shouldn't it at least be possible to show the problems within SOM, even without the MoQ? Isn't that what Pirsig did in both ZMM and Lila, before he presented the MoQ?

I mean, I would say that, but it sounds too much like something Bo would say
about "container logic" and obviously I can't be in agreement with him.
