That may be correct. But I do think it's one of the laws that governs organic patterns. Just as inorganic patterns obey both gravity and electromagnetism, organic patterns can obey more than one force as well.

Whatever criteria you use to distinguish the levels, how are you using
them? I think of them as blueprint and diagnostic schematic. In
computing, it is well to establish a stable environment for programs
before writing programs.

We're not establishing a stable environment. We're reverse engineering one.
