Andy and Adrie

Cool machine. I'd say the oracle is Quality. I've thought about doing something similar, and one has to have some means of weighing the value of mutations. And that's what the oracle is for. It was also used to avoid infinite mutations, but that's not necessary in real life because that would mean an organism that never stopped growing, and that would just kill it.

However, it would be neat to make a similar system but with a limited amount of resources to build stuff from. That would provide a sort of implicit fitness and might not need an oracle at all.

In the conclusion, they wrote:

"The issue of balance between the power of the organisms and the power
of the mutations is an important one."

Or in MoQese, the balance of SQ vs. DQ.

Strange machine , Andy, nice code, is it possible that it cannot do a
division by zero, or fails on ending to sigma?
i'm pointin out towards the nesting depth-it appears to be allowed deepening
in forever, so it fails on runtime by never endig this runtime.
I fail on the oracle module- I am not a code reader nor programmer, but i
can do some math, is the oracle an umpire? the dicision maker?
greetzz, Adrie.
