Hi Andre, My point was that SOM is not a stuck screw with its slot torn. It is the screwdriver that is being used to remove the defective screw, it won't work. As such, dmb's analogy was incomplete. We do not need to drill SOM out, that would be impossible. It is just the wrong tool for some uses.
