Thanks for the ditty.  There are several ways to look at memory.  For
example, we can be haunted by it and under its every whim, especially
in a negative way.  We can say that we have no control over its use.
On the other hand, we can use memory to create the past.  I prefer the
latter, since it gives me more pleasure and is to me of higher
Quality.  I have posted on this before.

Your view is a bit darker.  If it suits you, then more power to you.
We all have our demons.
