Hi Joe, Ideas are emotions put to language. This is the impact of the societal level on our individual level. We do not put ideas to words unless we want to communicate them. This is one of the errors that are made in equating so much with static quality. It only becomes static when one puts it to words and enters into the social level. Otherwise words are not necessary. Most of our thoughts are wordless, and as such it is hard to differentiate them from what you call emotions.
Only a small fraction of our thoughts are brought to the attention level, and this is for societal or communication purposes. Most thoughts reside in what you may call emotions. What would you call an idea that has no words? Perhaps such a thing does not make sense to you, but at least think about it. I have no problem with your abstraction of the emotional level, but perhaps I don't see it the same way that you do. Most ideas are emotions. They happen before you place attention on them.
