Hi Everyone, Saw this today -
An upcoming movie starring Brad Pitt and Sean Penn and directed by Terrence Malick. "At first all seems marvelous to the child. He sees as his mother does with the eyes of his soul. She represents the way of love and mercy, where the father tries to teach his son the world’s way of putting oneself first. Each parent contends for his allegiance, and Jack must reconcile their claims." It seems as if the movie is a deeper tale about the conflict of Classic vs Romantic (while not calling them this). The movies resolution for how Jack reconciles these two things should be interesting. The wiki page mentions footage of dinosaurs, the universe and will show "our place in the world". Should be interesting to see if they mean that we are actively taking part in evolution. Now that, would be a movie but I'm probably just projecting.
