Hello Joe, I suppose within the MoQ's evolutionary, hierarchical level structure giving birth may seem simply a biological pattern. While I admire such a structure for its intellectual ingeniousness, I have always preferred the net-of-jewels (Indra's Net) perspective, where everything contains everything else.
