It doesn't make sense to me at all. It is easy to confuse the labels we intellectually provide to emotions with that which inspires the labels. To say that the intellectualizing of emotions are the emotions (I prefer "passions") is what MoQ cautions against, as I understand it. MoQ is a paradigm shift from all being static, to such static being "representational". This is what is meant by the "ghost" analogy. I would say that we cannot be, except in the "representational mode". We cannot separate "ourselves" from the dynamic in that way. Such separation is an intellectual apparition which falls apart in MoQ.
