Hi Folks
While there are times I would prefer that formatting of posts and
replies could be a bit better, as it makes reading the content a lot
easier, I'm not overly concerned about it - it's a 'nice to have'.
Given a choice between civility and formatting I'll take civility every
time.
I think this is where contributions to MD sometimes fall down.
Try imagining that the person you're conversing with is about 2 metres
tall, built like a brick outhouse and is quite likely to give you a slap
if you don't behave with civility!
Being civil doesn't necessarily mean being subservient or weak or even
friendly - it just means to try and treat others with respect as you
would wish to be treated yourself.

I'll try and edit my posts better if you please promise to quit being
such a... what... disruptor? Every time I'm having a discussion with
someone you barge in slinging nonsense my way. Like I said before, if
you have nothing constructive to add, why do you have to try and ruin
it for others? Used to be, you and I could have a half-way civil
discussion. Lately, all you want to do is put me down... like that
crap with the Abbott and Costello routine. And this latest episode...
sorry if I am pressed for time and cannot properly edit my every post.
Still, if you don't like it, don't read it. Delete it. Pretty simple
stuff, that. Come on, Ron. Grow up. Otherwise, shut up.
