I did this:

-Mary says you censored her message from here. I suspected it was stuck in a spam filter.

-I posted Mary's message, which was intended to be posted here, as a citation within my message, which was longer

As you can see, I didn't cross-post, as in, "to send the same message in multiple mailing lists".

If Mary was right and you censored her message, I have less of a problem with this. I will understand censorship, even though I wouldn't agree with you that it is needed. But here you are asking me to follow a rule which I do not understand. I did not cross post in the first place.

I cannot adhere to rules I don't understand. How long, either percentually or regarding the amount of words, must a citation be in order to qualify as cross posting? If a message is only ten words long, would it be cross posting to copy that message and send it as a citation in another message, which is a hundred words long?
