Dear All:
So, is moq_discuss now open to commenting on social values and systems in
the light of MoQ, DQ-SQ?

Yes. moq-discuss is open for all conversation relating to Robert Pirsig's
MOQ and that includes the above.

What can be said about feudalism, capitalism, socialism?

In terms of what? Do you mean where do they fit into the MOQ hierarchy or
do you mean in which way do they interact or oppose each other? Or
something else entirely?

Not to mention human rights, religion and religious institutions?

As above, what terms do you have in mind? Should religion and religious
institution support human rights, which rights would they support and would
these rights differ between those institutions. In the UK, some religious
institutions seem to be coming around to the idea that same-sex marriage is
OK and others oppose this, although many of their members disagree!

I'd like to know how Pirsigians are putting MoQ into practice, making it
relevant to life. What is its relevance to personal renewal/remolding and
social transformation towards high quality living in this era of capitalist
globalization?

On a personal level I'd say that the MOQ is part of my everyday life -
influencing how I behave and how I think about what's going on in the
world. Regarding capitalist globalisation and the destruction of economies
for all but the rich it's very difficult to see how high quality living can
be achieved when those responsible for this destruction are doing their
level best to induce greed, fear and hatred into our lives in order to
achieve dominance.

The only way out, at the moment, appears to be through revolution as is
happening in various parts of the world - the main problem there though is
that it depends on who you are revolting against, who is supporting you and
what is their agenda - among other things.
At the moment things do not look good!
