Mary and squad, I started out to answer your question but I decided not to do it. I think that I will keep it to myself so that I can sit back and laugh because I will be the only one on the squad who knows what the answers really are. Separating Quality and DQ was my idea, not Pirsigs. My original idea was to separate inorganic Quality from Sentient Quality the aim being to deemphasize the concentration on sentient DQ and spread the application of Qulaity out over the whole spectrum of the universe. DQ becomes too humancentric for my taste with a consequent lowering of concern for the physical universe. I see that the idea is too profound for this group so I am putting it into file thirteen.
