I confess to being unable to follow your argument using Boolean 
logic in your post of 1 Dec. I'm not saying you're wrong; simply that 
I don't "get it." I'd appreciate any further clarification you'd care to 
make.  

Regarding your objection to my saying that Pirsig finds moral 
patterns, morals and values to be synonymous, I ran across this 
passage in Chap. 30 of Lila:

"How can a chair be composed of individual little moral orders? But 
if one applies the Metaphysics of Quality and sees that a chair is 
an inorganic static pattern and sees that all static patterns are 
composed of value and values is synonymous with morality, then it 
all begins to make sense."

Can you see where I got the idea that in the MOQ morality=values?
