Rich and Diana,

Personally, I think the three of us and others do have the philosophy of the
MOQ pretty much nailed. Our interpretations vary slightly in some fairly
subtle ways, but I would attribute that more to emphasis than to difference.
If we had a rough topical course-outline of the MOQ, I believe each of us
could teach a class on the subject with almost no preparation.

Like the two of you, I do have a couple of doubts and uncertainties about
parts of the MOQ. My preferred method to extract clarity is to continue to
bring it up again and again and again in this forum until the issue seems
resolved. Interestingly enough, views and concepts can develop a life of
their own here. We may not see it day-to-day, but when you reread the
archives, you can see evolution. I was trying to help Glove with his Lila
Squad book a month or so ago, and the advancement of ideas became much
clearer. (Rich , have you seen Glove's "Lila's Child" web site?)

I would support Rich's idea to build an outline of the MOQ, though I have
seen it tried several times with no success (most recently in Doug's
Quantonics site). A major stumbling block is trying to reach consensus on
any issue. The MOQ can be approached from different levels of depth, and I
find that much of the debates around here come from folks that are arguing
from different levels (for example, an intellectual angle as opposed to a
mystical angle -- Lila itself is contradictory on these two levels --but
thats OK). Rich's outline idea might help us get around this by allowing
different views under one heading.

Two other Q's: First, what are your major unaddressed issues with the MOQ,
Diana? And second, have we ever considered getting Pirsig involved to
address these issues? For example, could we gather and agree on 4 or 5 of
the toughest, most contentious issues and send them off to Pirsig for his
input? I would hate to bother him, but suspect he might actually appreciate
it (he doesn't have to respond).

Just wondering....
Roger
