Hi Jon,
I think the love of money is a representation of greed. Would you agree
that greed resides in the biological level? As far as ranking people based
on their income, I think that fits as a bio level concept too. After all,
would I prefer to have children with a wealthy man who could easily afford
to support them, or a poor man who couldn't? I think it is ingrained in us
because the concept is so old. Doesn't make it moral, though, since we've
come a long way since the biological level.
