I'm reminded of that bit in Desiderata: "...avoid loud and aggressive
persons, for they are vexations to the spirit.."
But day wreckers are only so because one lets them. And complaining about
them is a symptom of letting them. Those saintly figures who don't pass on
the crap are not enlightened because they don't pass on the crap - it's
quite the other way round - they don't pass on the crap because they are
enlightened. They don't merely resist the temptation to retaliate, they
deeply understand that such retaliation is their own worst enemy, - not the
day-wreckers, but the reaction to them.
Wish I could get the hang of it!
