Dear Platt - I'm puzzled.  Am I going to Fez?  Seriously, I'm not 
quite sure I follow.  Does the mere act of declaring carry with it
the 
implication of absolute truth?  Or is it so, because you believe it
to 
be?  And I also admit that I didn't get the Moroccan proverb analogy.

I don't deny that there is an "ultimate truth", I just don't think we

can access it intellectually. As far as what term we use...doesn't 
much matter me.  Whatever term we come up with seems like an 
intellectual construct and therefore not able to fully embrace 
whatever absolute truth is anyway.

It's all good.
