[Platt] The scientific community's record on predictions other than tides and eclipses is hardly confidence inspiring. I don't recall any scientist predicting that early 2007 would be among the coldest in North America in many years. Rather most were whining and moaning about how hot it was going to be. So you expect me to get all bent about what a few scientists predict will happen a 100 years from now? I don't think so.
[Case] Yeah, those stupid scientists, they are so last year. We shouldn't bother paying attention to what they say; bunch of heathen bed-wetting liberals. Besides thinking about what they say can give you a headache and they are soooo depressing. Better that we should learn to appreciate the beauty of brown and gray tinted air. And if the sea levels rise that's going to be great for real estate prices. Economists now those are guys who have it going on. Future generations? Let the little beggars borrow from their own grandchildren they are not putting any cash in my pocket. Beside if I am not here to think about things it will all go disappear anyway. moq_discuss mailing list Listinfo, Unsubscribing etc. http://lists.moqtalk.org/listinfo.cgi/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org Archives: http://lists.moqtalk.org/pipermail/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org/ http://moq.org.uk/pipermail/moq_discuss_archive/
