I see the MOQ as using whatever it deems of value from all the levels including the S/O intellectual level (that I prefer to label the Individual Level, intellect being "proprietary" as Ham might say.) When scientists look for beauty in a theory, they are coming from the MOQ perspective. When we sense something wrong at the social level, such as political hypocrisy, the MOQ perspective is also in play. In a way, the MOQ goes against the grain of contemporary social mores that say, "Don't be judgmental." In effect, the MOQ says, "By all means, attend to your judgments. The world was built on them." But, I could be wrong.
