[Jos] not at 5 (obviously), but a 5 year old is very suggestible, in what state is that (previously) 5 year old's mind at age 18? Are they capable of clear choices if they have suffered 13 years of indoctrination?
[Case] Much as I hate to agree with Platt I do not think children should decide things like where they go to school. Responsible parenting involves making these kinds of important decisions for our children. We should give children decisions to make but those should be decisions that are appropriate for the individual child's level of development. Is a child who has received no "indoctrination" at all capable of making any sort of choice at all? Suffered? You think educating children, teaching them how to behave appropriately in society is bad? moq_discuss mailing list Listinfo, Unsubscribing etc. http://lists.moqtalk.org/listinfo.cgi/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org Archives: http://lists.moqtalk.org/pipermail/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org/ http://moq.org.uk/pipermail/moq_discuss_archive/
