[ron] I'm not looking for a cause, because rationally, cause is infinate that's why I say The big bang theory is less accurate than the infinate reality theory and as you stated scientists " engage in bounded speculation." what makes the big bang theory more viable than The infinate reality theory? That's my question.
[Case] Until the 70's I think the big bang model competed with a steady state model proposed by Fred Hoyle. It was ultimately the discovery of the big bang background radiation that tipped the scales toward the big bang model. It makes no sense to think of cause when there is no space or time this alone suggests that cause it not infinite as it has a starting point. [Ron] You are allowed to concede that I have a legitimate point here. I'm not looking for who's right or who's wrong. Just that I have A valid argument. An argument every bit as valid as the big bang. Perhaps even more. If you can bring greater evidence to the table To support the big bang theory I welcome it because as impossible as it seems I can't seem to come Up with a reason as to why infinate reality is'nt the case. Trust me man, I want you to prove me wrong. That's why I'm Harrasing the shit outta you on this. [Case] It is not as though I have a clue myself. I share your curiosity and I periodically make an effort to see what is new in the field of physics. It is one of those areas that I understand "perfectly" while reading or hearing about it and then forget the details immediately and am left with impressions. I have not heard infinite reality suggested as a theory. Wheeler's many worlds comes close as does Hawking's bounded space with universes bubbling up like fizz in your beer. Multiple dimensions allows for it. All I am saying is that until you see the point where physics dissolves into metaphysics and why, the kind of thing Ham does is just passing mental gas. moq_discuss mailing list Listinfo, Unsubscribing etc. http://lists.moqtalk.org/listinfo.cgi/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org Archives: http://lists.moqtalk.org/pipermail/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org/ http://moq.org.uk/pipermail/moq_discuss_archive/
