I don't think it's a contradiction to say:  "I like French society, but I don't 
like French citizens".  I don't have a strong argument for this, other than to 
point out that what you say about the one need not be what you would say about 
the other.

1) Giving to the armed services/opposing murder is moral
2) That something is moral is not sufficient reason for forcing me to do it
3) :. If it is moral to force me to give to the armed services/oppose murder, 
it must for some reason other than (or over & above) its being moral.
In short, you still haven't produced a reason against 2).
