Hi Platt

I trust proper journalists to acurately report statements made and to keep this
distinct from their own comments and analysis. Good papers like the Guardian
and Independent do this well and if they are speculating they just say so! Its
really not hard to do this, but so many others fail terribly.
On this point it's really not a trust issue at all, as much it is an issue of
competence and proffesionalism.

On the TV, Sky news is good (despite its oligarch connections) and if its
web-based your after, aljazeera cant be beat for impartiality. I'm afraid the
BBC has become increasingly spun of late and the news anchors are just plain
annoying. (I also read Eye Spy magazine for a laugh but if you tell anyone I'll
have to kill you).
