[Case previously]
Actually from what I have heard it sounds like conditions under Saddam
really sucked. It is hard to imagine how it could have been made worse. But
despite the obstacles we seem to have managed. At least under Saddam they
cleaned the bodies off the streets at night. It wasn't leftists, whoever
they are, that created this mess. It was right wing nuts promising to spread
liberty with cruise missles. It was president numb nuts thinking we needed
to conduct full scale military operations to conduct a police action.

[Platt]
If you want to surrender to terrorists, don't let me stop you.

[Arlo]
Ah, witness the exquisite grandeur of the talk-radio argument.

[Case]
Human tragedy aside the other cost of invading Iraq is all the things we are
not doing as a result. We are not increasing security at our ports. We are
not building better relationships with the few friends we have in the middle
east and we are certainly not making new ones. Does anyone seriously think
we are safer from terrorists today than we were three years ago or 10 or
pick your own number.
