Pirsig is not infallible.

Socialism is an intellectualized form of slavery. Slavery, even dressed up,
is immoral.

Pirsig sells books for profit (see; ZAMM, Lila), that alone makes him a
Capitalist.

I don't know of a civilization that wasn't taxed, we have no knowledge of
how real Capitalism works.

Makes sense if your premise is; books would not exist without libraries. Is
that your premise? Isn't it the other way round?

Makes sense if your premise is; public schools make people smarter instead
of socializing them for the workplace and that without public schools people
would not want to learn. Is that your premise? How do you explain the
successes of home schooling and private educations?
