Ian Glendinning suggested April 26th: >Listen to the 3rd Reith Lecture >http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio4/reith2007/lecture3.shtml > >We need to learn to cooperate.
Ant McWatt comments: Ian, I also thought this lecture by Jeffrey Sachs (the Professor of Health Policy and Management at Columbia University) made considerable sense and, as far as the MOQ is concerned, especially his following comment about pragmatism: "One thing I think we can say about the American people is that they are pragmatic. We see that while Americans largely supported the Iraq war, as patently misguided as it was, before the war ever commenced, Americans now see it doesn't work. And I think that pragmatism is certainly our best hope." Best wishes, Anthony . _________________________________________________________________ MSN Hotmail is evolving - check out the new Windows Live Hotmail http://get.live.com/betas/mail_betas moq_discuss mailing list Listinfo, Unsubscribing etc. http://lists.moqtalk.org/listinfo.cgi/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org Archives: http://lists.moqtalk.org/pipermail/moq_discuss-moqtalk.org/ http://moq.org.uk/pipermail/moq_discuss_archive/
