Yes, this is what I enjoy about 'just sitting'.
Alert with this present moment is very relaxing, and
what I have to watch out for is when I'm done, I
caution myself in exploring too much in 'what just
happened' for it is still happening, but organization
tries to delay and slow 'things' down so I can process
all that is happening. This latter occurance, though,
is found heavily at the job place. At home or in the
woods, or even my garden, 'things' are not heavily
organized due to much more of the present moment being
experienced rather than the processing of the present
moment. For instance, at home I don't need a mailbox
and voicemail to communicate with my wife. Also, a
storm that occurred last week will still have its'
mark impressed upon the woods today. At the
workplace, well, so much of what is happening now,
needs processed and organized now, the information
overload gets to the point that I'm not communicating
everything that's happening, I talk with the assistant
supervisor to relay messages, or I hope that staff
just understand what to do, but that's why the
workplace has a system in place to help catch these
'things' and put them on hold until tomorrow, but I
still walk in the door in the AM or PM shift and have
questions asked to me where I say, "Oh yeah, let me
find that out for you, " or "This is what we do,
etc..."

We are saying the same 'thing' here I believe.
