Hi Dan and Foci.

A quick comment before session closes.

Yes, I too see Jonathan's point. Given the definition of Q-Intellect -
which is SOM's "mind" - there is no such STATIC LEVEL (see my
reply of 27th)

Even my "intelligence" - and its enhancment - is a crutch that can
be thrown away in the MOQ. A creature of (what we would deem
the bottom) of the Biological level is simple, but nevertheless
biological competent. A creature near the top may behave "as if it
could think"; show compassion, devotion, grief...etc. This
improvement - seen through SOM - is next to impossible to
explain. We use the "intellect/intelligence" terms, but its
"consciousness" connotation looms and THAT is impossible ....it
remains an enigma. From a MOQ p.o.v. biological value can't really
be enhanced, only becoming more complicated until Q-evolution
found patterns complex enough for its next step. So, in the above
example, it is Social patterns that are starting to show in complex
biological patterns (higher animals) as EMOTIONS. .....and
intellect starting to show as REASON in complex societies.

Conclusion: After assuming the MOQ view the intellect as
intelligence - not to speak of 'consciousness' - terms are
superfluous: The levels are the said features.

> A clip from the article reads:

"The problem, as Erwin Schrdinger pointed out in 1935, is to
understand why quite ridiculous superpositions like that of his
cat are never seen in reality, despite there being no prohibition
of them in unadulterated quantum mechanics."

The MOQ is ridiculous ....until the most obvious "superposition"
there is.
