There are actually three related things - ZAMM, Lila and the Lila Squad
(alias MF/MD). I find it hard to say which of the three has the
strongest influence on me. It is certainly the last (he discussion
groups) that continues to occupy a significant amount of my attention.
I believe that I have become a more philosophical person because of the
above.
In particular, I have come to greatly admire elegant simplicity.
I have also come to value my own judgment when I am uncertain, and to
question my judgment when I am certain.
I have also come to value contrary opinions and hardly ever dismiss
anything out of hand.
