Hi everyone,

Apologies for any duplication via twitter.

We got 57 responses most of who are interested in doing an online meetup
(56% yes, 42% maybe/depending on what we do).

It is quite clear people (93%) want groups that fit well with their
approximate time zones.
 - 18 people in approximately European(ish) and most African time zones
(i.e. Greenwich Meridian +/-3 hours)
 - 32 in the broadly American time zones. Maybe too big for a single
group. We could discuss this.
- 2 approximately India (Greenwich Median + 6 ) and 2 approximately Japan,
Australia (GM +9)

Also a nice mix in interest in "journal club", tutorials and just meeting
other morphometricians..

A number of people are willing to lead a session or journal club too.

I am happy to organize and facilitate for the Americas. If someone in
Europe, Scandanavia or in Africa can help facilitate that group. They
should also has access to a zoom account that allows for lots of
participants for a while (I have one through my University). Also if
someone wants to try to build groups in other time zones we can work to
coordinate too (same papers for instance). Please contact me directly.

More soon. Probably a poll of dates/times.

Cheers
Ian
