I join everybody in expressing my deepest condolences. Bookstein will be always the first name I heard when I started to have my first conversations about geometric morphomeetrics more than 10 years ago... And then always a reference in all subsequent works. The Orange Book will be always that book you want to read to find the answers you need, but also, at times, the book you need to step away from before coming back to it with a clearer mind ;)
Beyond his many scientific contributions, I will also remember how generous, detailed and thoughtful he was in his replies, even to junior researchers. His influence on geometric morphometrics and on the people working in it will be felt for many years to come.
