Luis,
 I've flown from the US to Europe with my microscribe many times. Most airlines
will not let you carry it in the cabin because it unfortunately looks to
dangerous.  I have never had any damage to the microscribe when it is checked as
luggage in the case the compant provides. You can buy the case here:
