Hi to all, My two cents:
In the morph classes I teach I use the terms "Forma Total" referring to Form, and "Forma" when referring to Shape. Then "Forma Total = Forma + Talla" In my experience, using "Figura" as Shape generates a lot of confusion. Because of the common usage of the word, students find awkward to see themselves studying the "Figura" of the organisms, and tend to avoid the word. On the other hand, the word "Conformación" is very frequently mistaken with "Configuración" by new students.
