Parés-Casanova" <peremiqu...@prodan.udl.cat> Subject: Fourier superimposition To: morphmet@morphometrics.org Perhaps this is not the best place to ask this question. I must calculate left and right solar surface assymetry of equine trait hooves. My idea would be to superimpose both outlines on the center of gravity and on the axis of the first elliptic harmonic, and then compute the ratio between both superimposed areas. But frankly... No idea how to do this superimposition. Outlines have been yet digitized and Fourier descriptors obtained. Suggestions? Thanks in advance! -- Pere M.
