Hello all,

I am a recent subscriber to morphmet so pardon me if I am telling you things you have
already discussed. We recently completed a 3-D scanning survey of the civilian adult
(18-65) population of NATO countries called CAESAR. It contains 4,431 subjects and 3
scans of each one, one standing and two seated. It also contains 99 traditional style
measurements and 73 3-D landmarks. Complete data sets for 10 arbitrarily selected
subjects are available for free on our website at: http://www.hec.afrl.af.mil/cardlab
The website is due for an update soon so some of the information on there is way out
of date (we are NOT still looking for volunteers for example), and may be a little
tricky to locate. However, everything that is there should be working fine. If you
want to get more data or the entire CAESAR data collection it is being distributed by
the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE) for a fee. They can be contacted at:
http://www.sae.org/technicalcommittees/caesar.htm

We also have software called INTEGRATE that is available for free. This can be used
to extract landmarks, compare subjects, segment, link, calculate distances, volumes,
center of volume, and lots of other things. You can obtain a copy by asking for it on
the website as well. It is not easy to use or learn however, although it comes with
some tutorials and a user's guide to help.

We have been collected 3-D data on the head a face for about 15 years now and there
are some data collections of these available for a fee as well. They are described on
the website too.

Hope this is of interest to you,
Kath
