'Morpho-metrics' Poets meet Scientists

  special evening of science and poetry, exploration, collaboration and
lively debate will take place in the Darwin Centre on Tuesday 11
March. Staff are invited to attend this free event which starts at
19.00. Morpho-metrics: Poets meet Scientists is one of a series of
events being held in the Darwin Centre to celebrate National Science
Week. This evening event is part of the Contemporary Poetry and
Contemporary Science SciArt project that encourages creative
interactions between poets and scientists for the purpose of exploring
cultural connections between the literary arts and the sciences. Join
Poets Sarah Maguire and Robert Crawford and their Scientist
collaborators, Norm Macloed, Keeper of Paleontology at The Natural
History Museum and Rona Ramsey, Biologist from The University of St
Andrews to discuss the outcomes and their experiences.
