Research Associate in Facial Recognition Salary: GBP 18,265 to GBP 25,451 p.a. Applications are invited for a two-year research post with Dr Nick Fieller (Probability & Statistics) and Dr Martin Evison (Forensic Pathology) from 29 September, 2003. The post will involve statistical analysis of variation in facial measurements in 3D and the development of novel algorithms for making 2D and 3D comparisons between faces. It forms part of a US Government sponsored project into computer assisted evidential facial comparison and involves additional researchers at the Universities Nottingham and Kent at Canterbury where similar posts are also available.
