the VTK TPS

       Somebody named Tim posted a link to a TPS implementation in
 the Virtual Tool Kit.  Please note this is not a 3D thin-plate
 spline, as it has the wrong kernel function.  I am sufficiently
 startled by this error in a $10 million public software package
 that I am forwarding the message to the manager of that package.
