Why the feeling that everyone has certain strengths in certain areas and can't improve in all areas? I agree that many people are stronger in certain "intelligences", but why can't we become good in ALL areas? Many students are stronger in math and science, while others are strong in reading and social studies, but many are good in all areas. As the reading teacher, I help my students "read" the math problems for the state test and many of them say they are not good at math. If you keep saying that to yourself, you will believe it. We limit ourselves so much when we forget that LEARNING is the one key to becoming more proficient at any area we want to improve on... Bill
