I don't have a link, but I recently taught some lessons on grabbers. We were working on expository writing, so we looked at lots of expository texts and developed a list of possible grabbers that included alliteration, interesting fact, shocking statement, setting, exclamation, personal opinion, rhetorical questions, dialogue, onomatopoeia...those are the ones I can recall right off. Perhaps others would like to add to the list?
