We are having many discussion around required literature and 'sacred books', 
finding that within our own district, the 
required and sacred are wishful thinking.  For our teachers, there aren't 
required texts imposed on them by building, district 
or the state.  Obviously, our conversations would be very different it that 
were indeed the case.
