Thanks for the tip Cathy. I'm noticing more and more lately that when I give a quiz. some students are unable to grasp the meaning of the questions unless it's read aloud to them. I know some of the kids have this on their IEP's but the kids who don't are also having a tough time figuring out what they are reading on their own. I wonder if this is generational.
