I encourage teachers to identify one or two strategies they think suits the novel and that the students need practice on. For example with Bridge, if I remember correctly, you might work on inferencing. You could use how the character changes and the events that cause those changes. I agree with Lori. If you use a different strategy for each chapter, students will not have the opportunity to go in depth with using that strategy.
