Carolyn, I have taken the Tucker signing course but I really haven't used it in my classroom. Just not enough time in the day. Part of the problem was I took the course in the middle of the year and really didn't have the time to spend teaching the initial letter sounds. I later went to an inservice on the Phonics Dance which is similar and decided to use it. What would be really helpful would be for kindergarten to introduce the basic alphabet signs and then first grade continue. It would be a great asset for special education.
