Well, I think that whole group instruction does have it's place in classrooms, 
in balance.  That said, I have kindergarten teachers who use them for CENTERS!! 
Can't get much more small group that that.  I think the issue of how you use 
the board has more to do with your own decision-making process and how you 
arrange your room around the smartboard than with the smartboard itself.
