A good friend in Alaska just e-mailed me and asked if I would ask the members of the list a question. Her district is going to be adopting a new basal....and she is looking for suggestions of what would be the best and warnings against those you see as the worst. She is not crazy about using a basal, but that is what the board has determined is needed and therefore she wants to make the best of a bad situation.
