My name is Susan and I am part of a literacy class at Wayne State. I have a quick question about goals and their usage. I had a student in 3rd grade class last year when I did my pre-student teaching that would not do any work in class. We tried everything from sitting him on the bench for recess to sending notes home to the parents. He was an exceptional student when it came to test time. Does anyone have a suggestion as to what could have been done differently? Thanks for your time Susan Melvin
