Actually I think $1000 for your own think aloud library covers more than
enough. How many books can you use in one year?

I had a combination of paperback and hardback. I often bought used paperbacks
because it was my own money and I needed to be frugal.

But hardbacks are so much easier to show to students during a read aloud.

I don't think my level of use wore out the paperbacks though. If you're
planning on moving them to the classroom library after you use them, you might
want the durability of a hardback.

That really was about two cents of help wasn't it? Hey I am just excited for
you to have the delicious experience of ordering those books. Gina
